Watch store KronosTime let people into a cabinet with special prices via SMS. Every message cost money, and 70 characters cannot hold an offer with a picture. Telegram login kept the same motivation — and started building a list.
- subscribers in 3 months
- 695
- for repeat codes in Telegram
- ₽0
- open rate in the messenger
- up to 80%
Cabinet users confirm a phone number to see closed prices and specials. That used to be SMS.
Why SMS login is expensive
- About ₽3 per message — and the code is often requested more than once.
- Every later campaign is another paid SMS.
- A 70-character cap, no image. An offer with a link spills into 2–3 SMS: already ₽6–9, plus login traffic.
The decision: primary login through a Telegram bot, fallback — a call. The motivation (closed prices) stayed.
What Telegram login adds
- Repeat codes and “forgot password” are free for you. You pay to wire the site, not per message.
- Every login grows the list — then campaigns and sequences, not a one-off SMS.
- Long copy, photos, files, buttons.
- Telegram open rates up to 80%, sales conversion a 20–30% range.
If Telegram is awkward, the call remains.
KronosTime connected in late July. In 3 months — 695 subscribers. They did not increase acquisition ads or change the offer.
When broadcast conversion and sales totals are in, we will add those numbers to this case.
